    Australia: PTA Transperth has selected NEM Solutions’ Laser Profiler and Aura data tool to manage wheel wear. China: Beijing Dragon Railway Transit Equipment has ordered 50 MiniProf units from Greenwood Engineering, the Danish firm’s biggest order for wheel profile measuring tools. India: Ircon has appointed Mott MacDonald to conduct pre-feasibility studies for a PPP to develop a 300 km/h high speed line between Delhi, Agra, Lucknow, Varanasi and Patna. Ireland: Last month Icomera and FleetConnect began rolling out wi-fi on 67 inter-city coaches used on IÉ’s Dublin – Cork route. Expansion to Dublin commuter services is under consideration.
