    Hi folks.

I wanted to ask any of you brass gurus out there, what thickness of brass is used in general to build things like cab and boiler shells? And how do you cut it? Just thin brass and careful passes with a sharp no 11 blade, or something else? I am going to redo the cab on my K3 build in brass, but I am unsure how to cut delicate bits like the front face of the cab.

Also, is 60/40 solder and some good flux sufficient, or should I try those paste solders? The paste is a bit expensive (20+ GBP, i can only seem to find it in the UK)

I will of course, do some testing and practicing before I tackle the cab, but wanted to at least ask about these basic bits!
