With all the modern equipment I have, I'm gonna have to put it aside do to my decision to build a small layout (something to play with while I wait to buy a house). I do have some smaller locos and cars (40') and they are 40's and 50's era. I love wig-wags and want to have some on this layout. Does anyone know of a company that makes animated wig-wags or is this a scratchbuilt project?

    Thanks!

I put together an operating wig-wag using a N scale signal from NJI. It was a pretty invoved project because it operates by adding an LED to the signal and a pushrod that runs into a bulding. The pushrod is operated by a Faller motor hidden inside the structure. Everything is powered by extra outputs from a Marson Electronics grade crossing system (via a Tortoise machine). The Marson system and Tortoise mainly control lights and gates at an adjacent grade crossing. I have some pics of both at...

    Hi Russ,

Thanks for the post. The web site won't let me in. It says I'm not the owner of the book. What would you suggest?

    Thanks,

    John

Very nice work, Russ! The crossing gate picts are great too! Very convincing. [IMG]
