I am wondering if anybody knows if CSX's ex-FLS (L&N, SCL) B23-7s were equipped with the AAR type B trucks? Just realised my N-scale Atlas un-numbered Family Lines' models have the AAR-Bs, but can't find any pics with them. There seems to be plenty of Blomberg and Floating-Bolster equipped units but none for the AAR ones. Thanks in advance, Trevor D.
As far as I know, none of them had the AAR Type B trucks. They might have been delivered with rebuilt trucks from traded in units (F-units? GP7's?).
^Yes, they never had the AAR Type B Trucks, and they came with either just the Blombergs off of traded in EMDs or the Floating-Bolsters.
^Yes, they did not have the AAR B Type Trucks, just Blombergs off of traded-in EMDs (the SCL Units) or the Floating-Bolster trucks (the L&N Units). (Unless, there is some obscure image of one with AAR Trucks, then they never came with them)
So I guess one could say that Atlas messed up on this release,,,,which was way back in 2004!!! I finally was able to track down some FLS decals, so when I dug them out, they didn't seem to look right with the trucks. Talk about being on the backburner. Thanks for the replies, Trevor D.
