    DC Operation-
Atlas Controller is being used for the reverse loop.
Atlas Selectors are used for block power in layout.

I have a few sidings within the reverse loop that need to be wired.

    1. Do I use Atlas Connectors?
    2. Do I use Atlas Twins?
    3. Something else? Not having sidings in the reverse loop is not an option. The loop is large enough to accommodate my longest train.
    4. If Connectors or Twins, are they wired into the X,Y or both X and Y terminals on the Controller, or elsewhere, or the common next to the X and Y ?
Any directions will be greatly appreciated.

    Guys-

I would really appreciate it if someone could give me some guidance. This is the last step of the wiring and I can then go back to scenery and finish this first phase.

I have extra controllers, selectors, twins and connector. I have tried to hook it up every which way (without basic understanding, of course) to no avail.

went home and looked at it. looks like simple spst switches would work. a connector would do the job.

look at it as a completely seperate layout.

when you throw the switch on your controller it reverses the the polarity on x and y.

make one common (let's say x) run the the other thru the connector.
ment to pick up an extra connector to test this and forgot .

lay it out on your work bench and test it with a light.

    i think this will work.

Got it. I finally found a diagram absolutely buried in the Atlas Wiring book. What was throwing me was that I knew it should wired through a Selector, but did not know which wire went where. I am sure the "why" is important for my general well being, but that would have made five words in a nine word phrase beginning with the letter "w", an obvious overwoad.
