Why are there no Auto-Max cars on Sand Patch?

    Hi!
When I look through train magazines, I see CSX engines along the Hudson River hauling those large and long articulated Auto-Max cars (like the one Athearn has produced). Why do I never see them on Sand Patch? Just curious, if anybody knows. Thanks!

Clearances... same reason you don't see double-stacked high-cubes on the patch. Auto-Maxes are taller than your regualr autorack.

    Robbman is right

There is an overpass in my town of Connellsville where the autorack cars barely fit under it, and they are the standard ones. So I can imagine there are other places on SandPatch grade with similar problems. I've heard that eventually CSX wants to raise clearances but it will take millions of dollars.
