looks like perhaps 4741 was in a grade crossing accident, so they reconstructed the railings on the nose and painted part of the nose and didn't letter it....later someone had a can of paint and a sense of humor. That unit is an FRA defect, too.
Yup. That's the first thing which came into my mind. Guess they've run enough commercials for me to recognize those letters. mg: Boxcab E50
They could be flashing and the camera caught it as one was out. They lights were pretty dirty. I usually wipe them off when I get on an engine.
