Where to get small - very small LEDs? Or how about small red lenses like for the back of a passenger (observation) car like a ConCor Budd.
Hiya. Check out their nano-LEDs. http://www.ngineering.com/lightng.htm Regards, Jim Maurer Tokushima, Japan
This is a brick and mortar store relatively close to me. You might want to take a look but check them last: http://youdoitelectronics.com/ In person they are a great! Store. I've no idea how they are mail order or over the phone.
Hello The Jan '06 RMC (Railroad Model Craftsman) has a pretty complete article on using the nano LEDs from www.ngineering.com . This site was mentioned by Jym already. While I have no personal dealings with them, the article was Glowing... at least about what they offer. My 2c Yolev
"Glowing", ouch! pun intended I bet! I was just looking at their site. nice stuff. I like using the caps to retain power over bad sports/tracks for passenger cars. I'm concerned with soldering those little tiny LEDs. and I've been soldering for years. too bad they don't offer them with leads soldered to them. I'll have to email them and see if they can do. It looks like they sell a very small fine soldering iron and accessories, but not sure I wan to get all that gear to add a few lights.
