Built dates for PC&F Ex Post RBL / XLI are: ATSF 3-71, DRGW 2-72, Frisco 12-71, MP 2-75, Nestlé 7-70, PC 10-68, Helm-Pacific (from various MP Ex Post PC&F cars in the 70's).
MP 2-75. Cool. I thought it looked familiar. I was involved with building those cars. There were always visitors and inspectors coming through, from the operation which had ordered cars. Some were just plain south ends of northbound mules. Most were rather bland- Almost indifferent, and simply performing a formality. The MP guys were THE friendliest of any I ever met there. Just nice guys, easy going, sense of humor. Always irked our management, as they would stop and chat with us.
