Well my plans have changed for this weekend since the BIGG derailment happened. My dad said we might head out to the NS yard and find what we can find there
The closest I'll get to railfanning this weekend is viewing the photos other members post on TrainBoard, browsing through my RailImages albums, or editing the other photos that I have on my computer. :no: Now when you ask this question again next week I expect to have a much different (and much happier) answer!! :w20z6q: Regards Ed (who lives pretty far from any trains.......)
I'll be heading out to the old C&I Saturday to use my ATCS monitor for the first time. Hoping to get lots of pictures with the new snow we've gotten.
My "weekend" is now Thursday and Friday, so weather permitting I'll try to get up to Portland/Vancouver & shoot some mainline action and whatever PNWR stuff I can find. Failing that, down to Albany to get PNWR stuff.
WELL CHANGE OF PLANS!!!!! Me and dad might head out to Osborne yard cause i got an email from CSX saying there gonna try to have service back up saturday so there gonna try to get the tracks fixed tonight
This is the email i got from CSX Rail service that had been rerouted in the area of Louisville, Ky., earlier this week will be restored on Saturday, Jan. 20, and normal traffic flows will resume between Louisville and Nashville, and Louisville and Cincinnati.

A day on the C&I The C&I was pretty quiet today. 3 trains in 3 hours. I did et a shot of an ES44DC, which made the day a success.
