Hemi i love your username im a big mopar freak my Brother owns a '69 dart with a 383 in it and that is probably a good 500 HP but he just bought a brand new 440 so im pretty exited to see how that turns out and he goes up to ohio to the mopar nationals for the drag racing but have a good one
Heck yea i cant wait until spring cause he should have it re painted and everything and he'll have that new engine in it so im so exited for a ride in that babe
Oh man! That is a very awesome argument because as we all know clean locomotives pull better than dirty ones.
If they spent a little less money on corporate suits and a few more bucks on washracks, UP would at least look better parked (which is their normal mode of operation). As for current Class 1s, I'd have to say Kansas City Southern. I miss their white "ghost" scheme, but I do like their light gray & red lettering. My faverite railroad, is the Denver & Rio Grande Wstern. My faverite current railroad would have to be KCS and shortline, the Utah Railway. I thought that it was interesting the grey that KCS uses and the grey that the Utah uses are the same shade. Make modeling them a bit easier. Paul
*deep breath* OK. I'd have to say current Class 1 would have to be Kansas City Southern. Then Class 2 would have to be Montana Rail Link, what other Class 2 has SD70ACes and mountain railroading? For Class 3 (Shortline), I'd have to say my local line, the Austin Area Terminal Railroad (don't ask me why "Terminal" for a RR w 100+ mi. of track.), SD40-2s and GP40s along with leaser SD38-2s and SD40-2s hauling aggregates south to UP interchanges (at least on the north end where I live), the line also hosts the Austin Steam Train Association's trains behind an ALCo RSD-15, and will eventually see SP 2-8-2 #786 return next year! :shade: :shade: And I think my avatar will give you a clue to my favorite Fallen Flag (MoP).
