A decoder for a HO Rivarossi Big Boy? I want to know so I can put one in sometime in the future when I switch to DCC. Thanks for any price listings and help!
May I suggest you go to http://www.ttx-dcc.com and check prices there. It all depends on what you want. Decoders range in price from about $15 on up to over $100 if you want sound. There are numerous options including but not limited to sound, special lighting effects, adjustable pulse length, back emf control, transponding, etc. There is no easy answer until you determine what you want.
