Ok, you guys had enough sleep, chop chop! lets see those last week-end video's and photo's.... No seriously, put them only when you have the time guys... Thanks:bear-laugh: Ben
Ben, Don't give those guys any slack. I mean really, what's more important, getting up and going to work and all the other mundane chores of life, or getting that video and pics up on the site so the rest of us can share in their weekend fun? These BAZ boys and ZoCal boys know their priorities, now they just need to do them.)
I just got home. Left San Jose this morning. I'm tired. But we did shoot some video of assembling modules and track sections. Soon!
ha ha ha , I thought you would found it funny.... But I'm at work and I can't see the video here, I'll have to wait to get home ,aaaarg! I'm drooling of impatience, just by seeing the first front image. Thanks Ben
David a huge "HUGE" thanks to you and to all the peoples participating in that video, this is great information, imagine, just last week I didn't know the existance of expansion tracks. 10 for $100, I'll place my order now. I was being stopped by this problem Thanks P.S. My daughter had fun counting the cars, wile listening to ACDC's song. LOL! Ben
Ben contact me on a PM. There is a large Marklin dealer close by. I can pick them up and send them to you. ...don
3 bay hopper on my work bench After creating my 3 bay hopper from a pair of Katy 2 bay hoppers this car looked so pretty I have to photograph it first before we redecorate it. The bits left over from the conversion will make a hopper for loading trucks in an industrial yard someplace.
Nice splice Garth, but couldn't you have picked an ugly paint scheme like CSX to hack instead of the Katy Beauties?
ROBERT! thats it, I am buying up all NP GP7s and stripping them. Garth, I been meaning to do the same conversion, but didnt know where to make the cut. Your pictures are a big help.
Garth, I didn't even know I wanted to do one of these splice jobs until I saw your work, now it's a must. And the photo really helps with where to cut. A few years ago I shortened an Atlas N scale 3-bay into a 2-bay so this will be déjà vu in a way. Nice work! Dave
I'm working a Maxi-Stack III. I started with 2 Micro-Trains CSX Husky-Stack Runner Packs. It's too soon for photos but I'll post some soon. So far, the hardest part will be connecting the trucks to the articulators. Dave
