Thanks for the link Kim, Is there a description for the parts somewhere. I'm looking for just the wheels off an 8827. I see the whole set of drivers #262690 but if they sell the worm separately maybe they'll sell the wheels separately? Steve F
Thanks, finally figured it out. Now I just need to know what the part numbers are. Does anyone know what the stock number is for a newer USRA mikado with blackened drivers? Also could someone point me to the page with all the exploded PDF files of Marklin locos?
Kim, In a close examination of that gear combination set I have, I can see NO part lines!! I have two different versions of this gear combination. With no partline visible, I have to say that this part was machined from one piece of metal. It is not three parts pressed together as one would initially believe. Sucks tremendously that Marklin does not sell that single worm gear by itself. Hobo Tim
It is time to make our own worm gear, For starters you could make it with Delrin or brass so we dont have to add sleves to fit. For all you know it might just be as good as a non standard screw and you have to just thread a rod. Kim
this is what i have on my workbench : A gp38-2 SP! It is going to be a snow fighter! I got this Rouge model from Jürg! ( thank you!) It still need's a lot of parts! but what i need most is a f7b unit, i don't need the shell just the chassis.. any one have one spare to sell? BTW: i post pic's from the zmod show and aother project's tomorrow
Hello Tim, Concerning the 9Volt Pager Motor, have you find some number on the plastic shell ? This is perhaps a way I can find it here through the Motorola spare part service.
The only number on the shell is a 1, 2, 3, or 4. Not sure what they represented as all of the motors are the same. On the motor itself, some have the lettering "1XU-" and some have no lettering. I do have 10 of these motors I can spare. Contact me at sgt_tim1@yahoo.com if you have yet to find a source. Let me know!!! Hobo Tim

You might wanna.......... Robert, you might want to wait for the second version. I do have a mold made and only one more set of brass cage ladder etched. It is possible we might be able to come up with a deal! :teeth: Hobo Tim
Hello Tim, Thanks a lot, your pagers arrived today, so my parkway train is more near to a solution. You will have mail on return.
Excellent! Good to hear that the package arrived. You will have to post photos of your creations!!! In my mind, the wandering has come up with countless thousands of possibilities for these small pager motors!!! Glad I could help! Hobo Tim
