Oh wow that is quite convincing! All you need is a raccoon crawling out of one of the openings!

    Rob,
    Very nice!(y)
Is there a thread regarding the Timesaver module that the barn was part of?

Wow, where did all the time go? I mean Andy's Tiveo Ranch was part of my Timesaver/Trestle module from 20 years ago. Kids became Parents and Parents became Grandparents in that time. My 25th year on Trainboard is just 3 weeks from today.

Well, I finished the roof and almost finished the mounting base of my new Old Barn today, and it's ready for planting on a module and detailing, but I don't have anywhere to place it yet. I just wanted to build a model:

Those small supermagnets are strong enough to snap the barn down to the mounting base with destructive authority, and pin it into proper alignment for a super good electrical connection, yet I can pull the structure up for detailing on the workbench as desired. I really like the bad roof, it just tells a story of long term neglect. :D

I found somewhere to plant the barn, maybe not prototypical, but it's the very end of my module set and I could use something there to add substance:

Thanks for the pictures of the time saver!:D
Time does fly! 2006 is the year I started restoring a 32 Ford.
What was you track layout like?
I ask because I'm thinking of doing a time saver.

I went ahead and built another Animek signal tower. (First one was over a decade ago I believe) but boy they just spectacular! Such an awesome kit. Now you’ll need patience but it’s worth it.

and planted. Years back I got the sun shade bender. Unfortunately I couldn’t find bottom half but bent or not it’s a good look.

Thanks Scott! I gotta say it takes a little time to get that finger dexterity working again!
Animek you’re one of pioneers here with your kits! Top shelf! :D

Yes, I'm waaayyyy overdue on new stuff. My last kit was from 2017. So I was planning to finish around the 10 ''or so'' kits that are about 85% done (like missing the manuals and some fittings) as seen here: https://www.trainboard.com/highball/index.php?threads/survey.138627/
Plus the suggestions I received during this survey. I had big plans since last July, related to a planned layoff that was scheduled for this month, (my fourth layoff in the last 10 years). but with what is going on in the world right now, CEO's are trying to keep us open to be able to supply Canada with leaf springs, including locomotives. Plus I don't want to let my whole team down by leaving if they stay open. So I may have to postpone my personal production for another few months, yet again...sign!!! because I'm really eager to go back to my laser doing kits. We'll see how things are going forward in the next few months.

Preparing to exit the workbench: some construction accessories (3d printed by a popular seller on the bay of e, they have a whistle in their name).
I didn't prime them, so the craft acrylic paint is a little spotty (plus, it's a custom color mix), but I figure that adds a weathered look from normal viewing distance. There were more small traffic cones, but they're already in use!
