What type of track do YOU use on your layout ?

    For the same reason as Stickymonk (my son), I use Peco 75 - although I do not now live in England, I can get it easily by mail order.

    I use nail down Flex track on cork roadbed...you get a freedom of design you cant really achieve with EZ systems and stain pens to get a more realistic look. (i use Atlas code 100 track and switches BTW) :)

    On my still-aplanning HO layout the Seaboard mainline will be Atlas code 83 - painted a proper rust/brown color. Gotta love the appearance and ease of laying. Sidings off the main will be Shinohara code 70, a little bit heavy for sidings but again, painted and with appropriate amounts of grass and weeds, is near appropriate.

    The joint terminal trackage (ACL and SOU) will see me use CVT's branch line tie strip using code 70.
    I'd love to use some code 55 but understand it is unavailable.

    I just dropped by a hobby store and was shown the Pecorino code 83 if you are modelling American it looks the goods
