Ok I was wondering what are you guys anxiously waiting for a manufacturer to produce. I would have to say a tunnel motor for my liking. I'm also looking forward to the SD80/90 especially a Demo model. ------------------ Paul Cassar-# Member number 50 SPAD Investigator #1 ICQ 61198217 http://users.bigpond.net.au/railroad2000
Same here on both of those models Paul!! I really would like some one to do the SD70-75 series and I would REEEAAALLLYYYY love to see an F59PHI!! Now that would be cool! On another note. For those of you that have seen the train masters in person, you know that they have the see through back grills. One of my friends brought something pretty interesting to my attention. If Atlas did the tunnel motor, could they devise a way to have the back truck pivit from right behind the fuel tank so that it would be in the right spot (right under the end grills) but there would be no mechanism in the way of the grills, therefor, they could use the same sort of see through technology on the tunnel motors ends! Just a thought ------------------ Craig Martyn Best Looking Models Around Custom detailing AND N scale detail parts. BLMA N Scale Detail Parts BLMAinfo@aol.com

Just a thought

Now that would be a nice treat. The downside of this would be the swing of the rear pilot on anything short of 30"+ radius curves. I can see many a car being dragged off the track as the loco will have pilot-mount couplers (assuming current practice). Maybe the current set-up used on the SD40-2 would do the trick as it has an offset gear tower and the body is longer on the -T2? As for the model I am waiting for - GP38/-2 - either a re-run of Kato's with a new mechanism (which Kato has not ruled out) or a new unit from Atlas. Another would be any -7 or -8 4-axle GE or any high HP ALCo. Gary.
I am waiting for nothing in particular since my RR is freelanced and all of my equipment is purchased used and repainted and rebuilt in my CEE lines name.
The new Amtrak equipment from Kato and D.I.! We could also use a new F40PH and some Pespsi cans too. I hope Atlas does the SD70-75 series loco's and soon! ------------------ Brent Tidaback, Member #234 BNSF Railfan-to-the Max and a N-Scaler to boot! "Ship it on the Route of The Roadrunners!" As a BNSF fan, I am looking forward to another run of C44's in H2. I would also love some SD75's, and some more late version, non-snoot SD40-2's. Although not BNSF, tunnel motors would be great, also the 90MAC's. I will second and third a SD70 -Spartan cab of course, and likewise, how about a GP60 from Kato or Atlas, with correct frame length and door configuration. Here's to hoping, Justin (seriously needing a High HP 4 axle EMD )May
Any chance someone could squeeze in an HO AC-9 2-8-8-4 twin engine painted for Southern Pacific? I hate to paint and letter, I shake too much! NO RUBBER TIRES!!!! ------------------ Watash
I'm with Maxwell, we need a good F40PH. I'd like to see some nice, new GP-38s as well as some U-boats. Look Ahead, Look South

quote:
Originally posted by Colonel: Ok I was wondering what are you guys anxiously waiting for a manufacturer to produce?

Anything Metrolink. They have very interesting geometric shaped coaches, nice paint jobs, and operate in push-pull mode (can we say oNeTrack?). Ed Harrison ------------------ Ed's Mental Cab Ride
Another vote for an SD-70/75 series units. Offer them in both warbonnet, H2 and as much as I hate to say it I would even buy a UP unit with wings on the nose. There are 3 versions with two or three rd #s a piece I know they would sell. (if you are listening atlas!)
I'm waiting for a good "Pacific Class" steamer, and in deisel a U25C. ------------------ Robert Ray The NP & UP N-Scale Railroad

Here's another vote for a GP 38-2. I'd also like to see a U23B and a good F40PH. How about (also) a GP 10 (ala the Paducah rebuilds)? ------------------ Jenks - the REAL Big Blue
Heres one more for the Metrolink cars and engines!!! Those would be sooo cool!! But I have to say that I would like to see a B40-8W! I like those a lot! ------------------ Craig Martyn Best Looking Models Around Custom detailing AND N scale detail parts. BLMA N Scale Detail Parts BLMAinfo@aol.com

Gary: I am not worthy! That looks outstanding. Thanks for the link. Mike ------------------ Jenks - the REAL Big Blue
GP38,GP15,GE b-axle stuff, anything wearing Jenks blue or BN green(no BNSF thank you) Gary yours is one of the most visited sites on my bookmarks page, really kicks a**!
STEAM ENGINES...2-6-6-6 (YEAH BABY!) 2-8-8-2 2-8-0 (Hoping the new Bachmanns run good!) 4-8-4 NYC Niagara type,4-6-2 PRR K-4s, 2-10-4 PRR J-1. Just some good running steam power that runs like the excellent KATO 2-8-2 does. Would also like to have #10-12 frog number turnouts. We need bigger sized turnouts. N-Scale has the room, and I won't be using a #4 turnout on my layout. ------------------ Let's Go Run Trains MARK
