Out of curiousity what color paint do you use a lot of. You can be shade specific. i.e. forest green, Navy blue....
I preffer Flo-Quill ATSF Blue, Minnerial Red, Minnerial Brown, BN Green, CNW Green and some others that I have to mix myself
GN green, GN orange, special red oxide, Pullman green, my own mix of a dark green to match some of LLs GN green, steam engine black, and weathered black, and Forest green. Then there is boxcar brown, boxcar red, mineral red, and reefer yellow.
Steam engine black, grimy black, mineral red, raw sienna. burnt sienna, burnt umber, red oxide, rail tie brown, twill, asphaltum. Stay cool and run steam....
We have a very diverse modeling group here on Trainboard. Some of the paint colors used has been repeated more than once. Most of us probably use all the colors mentioned above in some variation. Stay cool and run steam....
Depends on what I'm doing, lately I have been mixing a lot of Polly Scale to make Rock Island Blue. I probably use Grimey Black the most though.
