Hey Jim, I can actually see some of the top there! It's been years since I saw the top of mine! Let's see: N Scale: There's 4 locomotives, (2 F7A's & 2GP35's) waitin' for a MT 10 pack of couplers to show up. 5 MDC freight car kits to build. 2 cabooses I'm tinkering with, and a parts box. HO Scale: There's 5 locomotives, (2 SD40-2T's, 2 SD45's & 1 SD9) which belong to a friend, waitin' for Santa to bring decoders. 1 Walthers double track truss bridge, just finished today. 1 Rix Quonset hut and a couple of small shacks which will become part of a scrap yard on the same friends layout. Assorted parts, tools, paint, glues and last but not least....the dustbuster!!(which I use to find lost parts in the carpet!) 2slim
What's on my workbench? A lot!! I have just installed NCE DCC system on a new layout I just built. Now, I am in the process of putting decoders into my locomotive fleet, installing caboose industries hand throws, and start my scenery work. Hopefully I will have the time to do it.
Okay, I must admit that my work bench is currently buried under about 2 feet of stuff...the remains of the original SFSW layout!! Since rebuilding the layout is currently in the distant future, the work bench may not see daylight (or be usable!!) for a year or so!! John
i hate to say it, but my bench is totally clean, but i'm not sick, at least i don't feel sick. i'm redoing the basement and going to build another layout. Unfortunately its not an overnight job. i hope to start the layout late next year. In the mean time everything is boxed and stacked across one wall. i was going to say corner but it stretches from one corner to the other and up to the ceiling
Railery, Sounds like you and I arfe in the same boat (or is that boxcar?). Hope your building plans go smoothly! I was just informed that the portion of the basement previously given to me has been taken away for a den...boy oh boy iut is going to be tough for the family to watch T.V. when there is a two level railroad in the way!! John
