Last week I traded two unused HOn3 brass locomotives and a brass set of HOn3 open platform PFM passenger cars for a HUGE G scale brass USRA 0-6-0. My friend told me he acquired it new in 1976. It was made in England and according to him is a good runner. It needs new footboards on the pilot....other than that it's gorgeous, but does anybody have any idea of what it's worth? Odd-d

Certainly a mystery engine to me. Never heard of brass g scale locomotives that old. Pictures would be very helpful.

I would like to see a picture also. One brand name comes to mind when it comes to G scale brass from England is Aster, another one was Mamod but they where primarily live steam. You never said if yours was electric or steam. Mamod as far as I know was not brass though.
