What fasteners (I assume very, very small nail) are used to attach small lights such as a Shell sign on a post or outdoor lamps that have a small round base with two holes for attachment? I am attaching to plywood. Thanks for any help as to what these are and where to get them. Jim

    Glue is very common.

Probably rail spikes for laying track but I have also found that wire nails size 1/2 X 19 work just as well except that they are silver colored and need to have a touch of paint or scenic material covering them. I got my wire nails at Home Depot. Rail spikes, like those sold by Atlas are dark colored.
