This may seem like a newbie question, but I will ask anyway. How come some people have different colored user names than others? I see grey, orange, red, pink and I think I have seen blue. What do they mean? Or are they set by each individual? Just curious. :membarrassed:
Amongst the colors are TrainBoard Members, Supporters, Staff Members and a bit of whimsy. This morning you'll see a pink one- Which indicates a spammer we caught trying to sneak in. Boxcab E50
I seen a name and under it is said "permanently dispatched", and now I don't see them posting anymore. Must be that the Mod's kicked them off the board? I've also seen other names with small writing below them, like "not seen in the last 100 days" and one other that maybe means that person has passed away? -Mike
Yes, TrainBoard Staff is red, blue is people not seen in 100 days, black is people that have passed away, pink are banned, a line through the name means the e-mail bounces. I'm not sure if there are more off the top of my head but they do have meaning. Oh, orange is supporters. Charlie
As Charlie noted, the problem with color schemes is keeping track of them. :tb-biggrin: We do have the color called "invisible" but that's usually only applied to posts by me warning people to obey the rules of the forum. It's a strange color, only invisible to the people I address.:tb-biggrin:
