What color ballast BNSF using the Southern CA?

    The spray may cause the cork to dry up. But I wouldn't get too worked up yet. If you find it's stiff and won't let you push down on it, there may be a noise issue more than anything else. I still prefer acrylic latex for scenery base. Opps paint is the best.

    Also, if you're looking for canisters to sprinkle on your rock and whatnot, look in your phone book for restaurant supply places. They sell lots of stuff model rr's can use.

    Oh you’re a real photographer! Very nice photos. :thumbs_up: I saw a couple that I wouldn’t mind having for my desktop background.

    AS for the paint, I hope I quit before I got too much spray paint on. There was one section in the yard that I put a lot on. At least there wasn’t much on the main loop. I just finished painting the whole thing with some gray latex paint and I’m waiting for it to dry. I had a lot of holes in the cork roadbed that really show up now with the new paint.

    Yeah, I've seen that before. Cork can suck up liquid. Like I said, the worst that will happen is more rumble when the trains run.
