I would like to put out a huge thanks to George at Wig-Wag. I got my 120 BNSF coal cars from Hubert's through him. George took the time to make sure I got all 120 different numbers and was in constant contact with myself and Hubert's through the whole ordeal. They look great and I am very impressed with Wig-Wags customer service and with Hubert's role in taking over and making the LBF coal cars better. The loads look great and are nolonger the tapered off piece of black plastic like they were with LBF. George Thank You for everything and for getting me 1 of 8 full sets made. I can't wait for my second run of Challengers from you. Keep up the good work. Guys if you haven't done it yet try ordering from some of the Dealer Sponsors of Trainboard. They are great place's and people to deal with. I have had great luck with both KSI and Wig Wag both are class act's in my book.
Do you have a picture? I would love to see the coal cars on a layout stretching out around a curve or something like that.
Well as far as taking pics of them running I'll have to wait for the next trainshow I can get to. I do not have a layout yet. We are in the process of buying a new house that has a 1700-1900 square foot basement that is all MINE. I can't wait for that because I have more than enough trains to fill it. I will try to get a pic or two on here of the new BNSF wedge schemed coal cars by Hubert. Honestly I was a little worried about getting these sight unseen but George is a fellow Nscaler and he told me they looked good. I must say I trust his judgement very much now. These new coal loads are great. I don't have to do the white glue and nscale coal ballast trick to make the cars look like they have real loads in them. Thanks for the reply's and pics shoud come soon.
Holy solid strings of aluminum, Batman! I'll bet it looks impressive!! Are these Bethgons or another type of hi-side rotary gon?
How many engines do you plan to use? Maybe a few in the front, 2 in the middle and 2 in the rear. You do see that combination around here at time when it's a long full load. :lightbulb: :lightbulb: :lightbulb: :lightbulb:
here is a pic directly from Wig Wags site that I think is the one that Hubert's is using to promoted the cars. If there is any problem with posting the pic please let me know and I will remove it. http://www.wig-wag-trains.com/Huberts/Pictures/Gondola/Bethgon/BNSF-Nike.jpg I will probably be making 2 60 car trains out of them. I also just might be blending the cars in with my many other coal trains. There has been a mixed up coal train sitting in Litchfield Il. that we go by everyday and it just kept telling me buy some of these cars for your coal trains. OK just a good excuse anyway.
Has the gauntlet been thrown down?? No problem posting the link... When is the next show you'll attend? I'd love to see this train... Must.... see..... some...... pics..........

Geesh, now I know... ...I have aproblem. I'm trying to stop at 40! Then I think, "but another 40 would be better". Isn't more better?! That is not a rhetorical question. The answer is yes. Congrats Ed. I enjoy my envy, feel free to do the same. Mark
That will be a great looking train. I saw a solid train of those a few months ago and it was pretty impressive to see those shiny new cars with the swoosh cruising past. Solid trains usually last about two trips before being "contaminated" with older cars so it's something to see.
