I don't do tapatalk but it does look great on a phone when viewed in a regular browser. Keep up the good work. Edit: it appears (at least for me) that the threads are no longer refreshing after you post. Sorry about the double post.
GLITCH!! Just posted again in another thread and that thread no longer shows on my computer???????????????????????JIM
Okay, I solved the GLITCH, I did not fix it. If you find threads or even the whole "Recent Posts" page gone after you make a post then I direct you to the "Recent Posts" button on the top right of the page. You have to hit it everytime if you want to see your post it seems if the thread disappears. Not sure this is how this new program should work. Jim
It looks like the "new posts" display only shows threads you haven't read posts in, while the "Recent Posts" is the timeline.
Yeow. WIDE screen format. Rather than minimal vertical space used, now have to scroll *substantially* more, just to see posts, or read a thread ! Good thing I have a portrait monitor for web pages ! Can we opt to not show the Avatars, to compress the vertical spacing? And text within posts appears to be 1.5 line spacing. Such a waste of space (the new trend in UI's, all white with little content. Will still get my financial support
Just noticed that the join date and total number of posts a member has made is no longer showing. Not a biggie, but does help to adjust how one answers queries, especially to a newbie
I believe those are things still in the works. For the most part, we're just running basic site, with only a few frills established as yet.
Glad to see things back up and running. Don't like the thyme but will get used to it for now. I think things load a lot faster now though.
Not a fan of when I click on a post, it brings me to the end, so I either need to scroll to the top or back pages to see what all I've missed. (edit) Looks like it only did it on this post. (edit again) Did it on a few post I just looked at. Is this part of the new coding?
For the life of me I could never find where to delete the different feeds on Tapatalk. There were a bunch of them that I never even selected for all kinds of forums. So I just deleted the whole app. I prefer the layout of the new software as it comes up on my phone. It is much more friendly than Tapatalk in my opinion.
Russ - yes, the new layout is much more friendly on mobile devices, so I may finally jettison Tapatalk. But, at least I have it working, if I decide to continue (sorry I missed meeting you last weekend in Sacto)
