Let's try something new for this week's challenge! Show me anything of your MRR activities in a creative way! That's it! Be as imaginative as possible. Think black and white, upside down, inside out or backwards! New photos are highly encouraged. As always, Photoshop is allowed but the main subject must remain a physical model. One image per member. "Times up" will be posted next Monday so dont wait until the last minute. After the times up I'll post the poll for everyone on TrainBoard to choose their favorite image.
Are the gears turning? How about some top-down shots? Those are creative. Maybe you can play around with other shooting angles. Who says color has to be accurate? Ever seen an inverted train? Why are the trains in the streets and the cars on the tracks? Hint hint, nudge nudge.
Okay, Mark, | have taken some lo-light shots, and not with much success. You ask us to be creative. I figured a night shot was going to be a real stretch form me and my equipment. So, being my most creative to date, at least with very little light, here is... Night Departure From the Roundhouse
EEK! Judging by the motion blur, there was no stopping once the picture was taken. How far did it launch the cow? Great photos so far everyone. One more day left for everyone else! Kurt, do you have a preference for which photo to put up for voting?
Nice one, ArcticTrain:tb-tongue: Locomotive 1 Cow 0 I saw a video of this happen on youtube. Except D&RGW K-36 #484 hit the cow (TELL THAT TO YOUR DURANGO & SILVERTON FRIENDS!), which could've run four feet to the left or right and lived, but instead it ran straight down the tracks... onto a bridge. (fail?)
