Considering I live only a few hundred feet from a NS grade crossing, I really have no excuse.

    I got nuthin...

I waited for 10 minutes today for the Lunchtime Express to come through the crossing by my office, but assuming I had already missed it, gave up. Wasn't more than five minutes later when I heard the blast of an airhorn. By the time I got back to where I could get a decent picture, the show was over... :mhissyfit:

Great photos guys! I was busy this weekend so I set out after work this evening to get a crossing shot. This was the only movement that I was able to catch.

If the Lunchtime Express is the daily CP local I can give you a heads up when they are by St Louis Park. I see all the action, coming and going, from my window seat. I only have to get up if I want a better picture from the back door.

Reminds me of when I worked at Testors. The IC main was right beside the old building on Buckbee. At lunchtime I could usually watch the IC from the fire escape.

    Dang!

I got this one at noon today, but was caught up in meetings. Aah, well. I'll submit it just for decorative value. You can leave it out of the voting. It's just a quick iPhone snapshot anyway...

*see photo in Cutting Room Floor* :)

Aw, that was close! Unfortunately the poll is already posted. :(

I hope you dont mind, I replaced the image with a link to your post in the Cutting Room Floor. It just keeps things tidy and avoids confusion when people vote. :)

No problem at all! Deadlines are deadlines, after all.
