Well as of 3:30 today I'm a Senior in school, and happy happy happy National Train Day as well! Here's two shot I was going to post on last months Smartphone Challenge but I was unable to. Instead of leading a coal train the GEVO's were running light due to a minor derailment I think from what I heard on my scanner.
A few weeks ago at sunset, this Z-CHCSSE is rolling slowly up to the Whitefish, Montana crew shack for a quick personnel change. Then it's very quickly off and running again.
Are those spare knuckles either side of the coupler on the SD40-2? Is it normal for road engines to carry spare knuckles, or is this only done with yard and local duty engines?
They are just the movable part of the coupler, not the entire thing. The part that usually breaks. Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
