Yolo shortline #1233, an 0-6-0 holds down the fort at the Woodland train Station. She's the property of the Sacramento Valley "hysterical" Railways. which has opened the 1911 depot as a landmark as well. This is on the SP's former West Valley line that splits off from the Oakland to Sac main at Davis and runs North to Tehama California where it merges with the East Valley line. The west Valley line is operated by Cal Northern, Their yard is just south of the depot. UP rebuilt a bridge on the north side of the line to maintain access for the rare occasions when the east valley line is closed.
