I had been hoping to get out today, for some fresh photos. But the wife has the car, and as she wrecked my wheels, and as it is presently snowing, guess I'm stuck at home.
I just so love the weather of late. We got a couple of tries at snow last Sunday, and now Ken gets more. It's April already! grumblegrumble
Here's one on me - CPR 2928, a 4-4-4 built in 1938 by the Canadian Locomotive Co in Kingston: Snapped by my Dad back in 1975, when it was still on display. As of 2014, it's tucked away somewhere at the museum, out of sight.
That loco has some really nice, clean lines. Quite a contrast to much of what we're used to from steam, although I do realize there was a good bit of it made with that kind of streamlined appearance.
The Rosenberg Railroad Museum is having their annual Rail Fest today. One of the trains that passed by to thrill all the guests.
