Adam- Is this a former MILW office building of some type? Or do you know any history about it? Nice find! Ryan
It was painted when the MILW entered Portland, under the Gateway conditions of the BN merger. It is located behind Union Station in Portland. Across from (west) where the old coach yard was sited.
I took that photo a few years ago. The business in the ground floor is an art gallery. It's pretty close to the old SP&S depot buildings, which are now condos. When I saw it I was also amazed it was still there, so I went back, got a camera, and took this photo. It was still there as of a year ago. I should go check again to see if it's still there.
