Is it still fenced in on the south side? I can't tell from this picture.

Several years ago, when MRL ran their 25th Anniversary employee trains. On the famous Marent bridge:

Nothing fenced in the inside, but lots of construction next to it on the Centurylink parking lot side and elsewhere.

It's been since 2008 for my last Amtrak to Seattle. At that time there was an "ornamental" steel (square) bar fence on that side. Really made taking pictures a pain in the..., as the other platform doors were locked until train time.

    That's a beautiful setting for that L&N steam, Russell.(y)

Marent bridge is impressive. It probably feels even more impressive from atop it...

Oh yeah, that's still there. My last trip was 2002 or 20003. There was nothing on that side. Then Qwest field was brand new.

Nice little fueling pad , with a wye going behind the building. The green covered hopper has sand.

The Amtrak Exhibit Train finally made it to town, so I made a point to see it.

They were through my area a couple of months ago. They seem to be wandering almost aimlessly around the country.
