Fun time in Rosenberg yesterday. Don't know who's fault it was but a BNSF stack train stopped after blocking the 3rd Street crossing. It was there for about a half hour before the oncoming BNSF stack train passed, a west bound UP train tied up the interlocker and the east bound KCS train seen on the left pulled out from the Victoria Sub and headed into Houston. Normally they stop just short of the crossing so traffic can go between trains. Parked on the crossing as the south bound passes on the other side.
The "No Trespassing" sign is an artifact on the grounds of the Rosenberg Railroad Museum. It was somewhere on the property before the site was donated to the museum by the BNSF. I believe it was moved to the present location about 10 years ago.

This may be in the wrong forum but I thought it was cool. From the J. E. Motts collection, photographed by his father Gordon Motts, circa 1940'ish at the El Paso, Texas roundhouse . . Those were the days ! Carl
I just found an old photo from 1964. It appears that the sign was never moved. That is until today. We had to pull it up to make room for a retaining wall for the new G scale garden railroad we are building on that spot. We will replant it a few yards away. I circled the sign on this image.
Great to see more steam. Ken, I was at the rear end of a passenger car with the door open, to get that shot of 17 coming toward us to pull us backward to Elbe from Mineral.
