145 years ago, these locomotives brought the East to the West! The nation was bound by iron rials! It is interesting to note that the Union Pacific has not changed it's name throughout all the mergers, since Lincoln named them in the Pacific Rail Act of 1862.
Here are two H0 scale cars I weathered. Actually this was done by one of our TB members, GP30. I bought this car from him on the Swap Meet forum. I did weather this one.
This is a "Rutland " car. It was until I was distressing the lettering. In a moment of exuberance it became an "Utlnd" car on this side. The other side is better.
2 of 4 new N Scale cars, I had an old piece of Code 80 flex left over from the first N Scale encounter 12 years ago. Laid it on the existing HO layout for a better shot. Absolutely love the TH&B boxcar, a newer Atlas offering. Also, an unintended side-by-side comparison of Atlas Code 80 track verses Micro Engineering HO Code 70 rail. Convinced me to be using Code 55 on the coming N Scale layout
