Athearn celebrated their 75 anniversary with a locomotive numbered 1946, and a caboose numbered 2022 well, yesterday I finally received the 1968 Ford box truck, lettered for the 75th anniversary of Model Railroader's MR&T. Have a good weekend!
I made some time to paint and assemble 10, 3D printed 'dry bulk trailers' for the Specialty Minerals scene, on my layout. I toyed with the idea of sanding away all of the print lines on the trailers, but with the fine and fragile details, distance from viewer and with some weathering, I felt these were good enough for now. I can always go back and redo them, if I have time, or suffer a severe blow to the head...
Not a bad pic or video in the bunch. @r_i_straw, some people keep a container of spackle in the fridge.
Rats! I just read on the internet news that the Titletown Train Show was on the 1st and 2nd in Green Bay, WI. It's been a long time since I've been there and now I live about 30 miles away. But as is getting normal I never saw any advertising for it. Maybe I could have found some cars from the area I wish to model.
