Years ago I decided to "fix" my Minitrix 2-10-0 Decapod to address the strange features it came with. You can read all about those here. http://www.spookshow.net/loco/decapod.html I decided to create a Russian Dec. Who in these parts had any of these? I settled on the Frisco. Modified Atlas boiler shell. Added all wheel pickup on the tender and a decoder. Sweet running locomotive.
Good morning from cold, cloudy and snowy Northeast Ohio! Do I sense a trend here! I did manage to finish a couple of cars this week! IMRC 40' 12 Panel 10' IH Boxcar kit, added an 8' Superior Panel Door after I cut 6" off the top and installed a new evergreen piece on top. Painted with Scalecoat II NP Light Green and lettered with Tichy Decals. Car was used in general service on the EJ&E. Next a Walthers Channel side 89' Piggyback Flat, set up to hold two 45' Trailers, painted with Scalecoat II NP Dark Green and lettered with Herald King Decals. The trailers were painted over 40 years ago and I finally got around to adding a trailer to haul them, also a picture with a 45' trailer on the flat. Bowser NKP Phase III RS-3 engines powering a general freight on the Strongsville Club Layout. Have a great weekend! Rick Jesionowski
I added some surface ripples to the mirror smooth epoxy resin pond below the steel trestle on my N-Scale Housatonic RR. I still need to touch up the beaver dam and the shoreline a bit.
Spook show... Trailers painted over forty years ago! I'm calling the Archaeology Dept. Stock cars! Water looks real.
Good morning. Reminiscing on the Albemarle Division V2 that was dismantled in '08. Alco RS1 and Baldwin AS-616 ready for duty on a Saturday AM.
NP&BH 490 in it's early stages. Currently it is disassembled for a new motor and some other upgrades,
