    From here at the N Scale Enthusiast Convention in Roanoke, Virginia, I guess it would be appropriate to post a photo of some of the local power unique to this region. This is a N&W 4-8-0 bashed from a Bachmann 2-8-0. For some reason N&W liked this wheel arrangement.

    This is an old PFM brass locomotive that I bought for a song and a dance about 20 years ago. A modeler was hard up for cash. It used to be a Santa Fe locomotive, but I repainted it for my Logan Valley. It is one of the sweetest running locomotives I have ever seen or owned.
