This is my N scale rendition of the old stucco Union Depot in Rosenberg, Texas. The SP side is showing and the other side was Santa Fe. The Santa Fe passenger trains came and went to Houston via track rights on the SP so both railroads unloaded and picked up passengers on this side.
Nakusp wayfreight docking at Rosebery having sailed up from Slocan City. And a colorful, early 70's consist of power at Lafferty tank md
You know, I can't honestly tell you. The hull and basic super structure I purchased built up out of a display case at a hobby store who wasn't sure of its origin. I modified the superstructure, added details, made railings, ladders, etc to replicate the CPR's Iris G on Slocan Lake. My guess is the hull may have been a limited run kit of the CPR's BC Intertior lake tugs because it scales out pretty well to them and the hobby store was in BC...and I had heard rumours that there was a kit at one time. md

Mike, your great bridge looks a lot like High Bridge in the south Bronx, where New York Central Putnam Division trains terminated and commuters could cross-platform transfer to Hudson Division trains into GCT.
Thanks Hank. Its actually Hainesburg Viaduct. It was scratchbuilt by Scott Lupia years ago. When he demantled his layout it sat around for awhile. After I got sick, he gave it to me. When I got really sick, I had to give up my apt. & my layout was dismantled. When my layout was reassembled, I was determented to get the viaduct in & make it the focal point of the layout. I think I did a satisfactory job of that.
During this last week, we held the first session of our summer Rail Camp at the Rosenberg Railroad Museum. Two campers running trains on the final layout with their newly completed T-Trak modules included. Then we took it apart and they took their modules home.
Vehicle weekend for me. Block Distributing Company farm machinery. Pine State Ice Cream. Home made decals. Panther Tansportation. Homemade decals.
Nice car float, Mark! I've been working on a little larger car float, and much bigger tug, for the Santa Fe marine operations from 1948 through 1984. Can't put these on my layout, as it is still standing vertically in 8' to 12' pieces in my garage.
