To get this train rolling this weekend, I have an oldie showing Oyster Creek with the Marshal Canning Company on the right and the Imperial Sugar Company power plant and water tower in the background. Back in the shadows you can barely make out a MoPac SW9 crossing a bridge.
Breath-taking, you two. WOW! I have a N&W Northern 4-8-4 crossing the Seneca River. I weathered the ballast some more, and I added a streak of a mix of black acrylic craft paint and gloss medium down the middle of the ties.
I updated my layout thread earlier this week, but I'll post one of my favorite "railfanning shots" I had included (although the caption will vary). ANRR U23B #6330, still wearing her ATSF paint rounds the curve by the lake. our photographer happened to be out fishing on the lake, and though several fish popped their heads out of the water to watch the 6330 go by, our photographer was to intrigued himself to grab his net. Alas, that was his only chance for a fish-fry that night.
Some oldies this week, so here is mine. SP 4449 on way to Louisiana, passing through the Southwest and a small oil patch. Look no leaks ! ! ! Pipeline crew finishing up on a reapir job.........
Weathered a couple of trains the past few days. BN 7309 got some light weathering: (before) And a bit heavier on the work crane: (before)
This ship was built four years ago in honor of my first grand daughter, Madison Rose. Well, I'll have to build another "peanut", as Hannah was born a few months ago.
A few years ago I joined a social RR club and naturally I had to have one of the boxcars they had made for their 25th anniversary. Here it is spotted at the Ark-Oma Furniture and Appliance warehouse.
F7's meet at Devore Here's one of mine, from some years ago... Got to love those EMD noses.... Otto, modeling Cajon Pass in N scale circa 1950
Heading home as the sun sets Almost entered this in the weekend photo contest, but wife liked my other picture better.
Just a little fun. Haven't had the cows out in the pasture for a while... need to get a fence up in case the calves wander onto the tracks...
Good-looking cows  My most recent acquisition - Atlas Classic Alco C-424 - has an outing Mike

Hi Otto! what a blast from the past.. I build that Devore depot in HO according your MR article years ago. It was my first scratchbuilt structure ever, and when I was relocating last month I found the model in a long forgotten box. It now sits on a shelf in my living room - just to remember me how my humble scratchbuilding efforts began.
