From an overcast day in March 1988 at Montgomery, AL is Chessie System GP40-2 4259. These were ordered by Chessie and sublettered for the WM. The unit later became CSX 6158.

On Thursday, 12 October, 2023, NS H99's light power runs West past Wernersville station to pick up stone loads from Millards. The lead SD40-2 is ex-Conrail and the rebuilt GP38-2 is ex-SOU.
Southbound through Dalton GA - September 23, 2017 - While not the most scenic spot, it is one of my favorite spots to watch some rail action on both the CSX and NS. Been a while since I have been there. Will have to try and fix that soon.
Another great shot. The light is excellent. Yep, I need to get to Dalton. What's that passenger car to the left? Looks like a station of some sort there?
That's the old Dalton Depot and a former Southern passenger car on display next to it. On my next adventure there, I really need to get some better pictures of the depot and cars.
