Good morning from cold, windy and snowy Northeast Ohio! Received about 15" of the white stuff over the past two days, worked from home yesterday as the office was closed. Nothing new this week, what with work and the bowling tournament last weekend I did not get a lot done. But I have a couple of new acquisitions, they will be going to the club for a run next weekend. Below are a pair of new Bowser RS-3's! So with these units I will show their replacements, Rapido RS-11's running on the Strongsville Club Layout. Thanks for looking! Rick Jesionowski
Thoughts of spring since Georgia's own groundhog General Lee didn't see his shadow. Flowers in bloom and look, there may be the first Robin of spring as well.
Trainphone antenna. It was the Pennsy system for radio communications in early diesels. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trainphone
They did not make good hand rails for walking on top of the locomotives. Especially when someone was on the phone. ZZZZAAAAAAPPPPPPP
It is a busy day at Leiperville Union Station as a PRR PA1 and PB1 (Proto 2000) pull out of the station while a New Haven DL-109 (Proto 1000) and a B&O E7A (Proto 2000) pull into the station.
Real enough to me! Looks like you did a selfie in the real deal . Or you have a shrink ray... (which would explain some of the finer details... ) The fence in the background is very realistic, right down to the irregular top edge and the missing plank (so kitty can come home after a nightly patrol). Keep up the great work. You mean that's a model? The first Robin of spring seems to have borrowed the keys to the Batmobile without Batman's permission... He's going to get one heck of a bat-earful when he gets back to the Batcave...
