I'm back. Did not get any modeling in during the three weeks that I was "off the grid". Here is an old one of an N scale Wheels Of Time car that I painted.
It's been a while since a posted. Here's a few photos of a couple of month's work earlier in the year, adding scenery to a new section of the railroad. The area still needs some trees, line poles along the track, and the waterfall in the river needs some cotton to make the white water. The little church is the old IHC snap-together model, with a fresh coat of paint. George V.
GeorgeV, You may want to try simply 'dry brushing' white paint onto the wave tops. Easier and may be more realistic looking. Jim
Forgot my photo for this week. Hopefully Spring is here and you all don't have to worry about snow until Fall. But if you really want more here is a photo for you. Jim
Nice. Just a light dusting on those trees. Not a load of "cement". Snowed here yesterday. I was outside trying to get started on seasonal yard stuff. Ha ha. Fooled me. I ended up soaking wet, and with a concussion atop that... Snow in forecast again later this weekend.
That's a great photo and modeling, Jim. A GP7 returning to the yard, after helping push a coal drag up the hill at Stoney Creek.
Wow. Now that you've mentioned it, quite interesting to realize next year will be the fortieth! The years have flown by!
