Russell, another really nice set of bridges, again like last week a very realistic scene! I managed to get some cars done this week: Intermountain ART Reefer Kit, Painted with Scalecoat II Reefer Yellow, Boxcar Red and Black Paint, then lettered with Champ Decals. ART was owned by the Wabash and MP and would look right at home on Bear's car ferry. Athearn ACF 2970CF Covered Hopper Kit, painted with Scalecoat II MofW Gray and lettered with Herald King Decals. The RI Covered Hoppers came with trough hatches rather than the circular hatches and were in sand service at Ottowa, IL. Another view at a different location on the Strongsville, OH Club Layout of my U30B's hauling a mixed freight. Thanks for looking! Rick Jesionowski
Mr. SP; we appreciate that, but understand that you were over at Davidsville fighting this 2-alarm IRS building fire. Other engine is taking their time enroute. But yes, everyone got out OK, thanks. John
Very good stuff again this week everybody ! Here is a quick action pic of an ex Rail box I am working on.
Well, I know the weekend is over, but I was working on these yesterday (Sunday) and just didn't get them photographed. I'm trying to recreate the Wild, Wild West train, for James and Artemus...The locomotive is a TYCO rendition of a Rogers 4-6-0, and then I have a Roundhouse/MDC baggage/combine, then two TYCO coaches. I'm working on some decals. I think I'll name one of the coaches WANDERER and the other WAYFARER. In my world, these belong to the Utah & Pleasant Valley Railroad..[Which was a real railroad, later absorbed into the D&RGW].
