I salvaged this Arnold Rapido arch bridge off the N scale layout that I built in 1967. It now has a place as one of the elements of my variable photo diorama.

Good morning from cloudy and mild Northeast Ohio!

Did not get a lot done this week what with league bowling in full swing and going back to work, but I did get one load done and finished a Moloco kit and it is in the paint shop now.

I found this Transformer on E-Bay for a decent price and installed it on one of my Eastern Car Works depressed center flats with scale 4x4's as blocking and brass wire for tie downs.

Here is the final underneath detail on the GATC RBL, since I used no roofwalk on the model, I had to move the retaining valve to near the ABD valve on bottom of the side sill instead of on the end of the car.

Now the end of the car, I lowered the brake wheel and filled all the preformed holes in the end of the car I did not need. I did not install any of the side detail so it will be out of the way when I mask the sides of car in order to paint the ends another color.

For the Club Open House for the Harvest Festival at the Strongsville Historical Society, I had my Rapido PA-1's and the Walther's 13 car General running.

    Have a great weekend!

    Wow! Great stuff so far!

That's nice. Those ATSF F7s really remind me of my Dad and his Santa Fe passion. Great memories!:)

    Transformers are cool!:)

A lot of transformers around lately... some kind of plot thickening... :cautious:

The plot's working! ;) I'm getting the urge to scratchbuild a transformer - I have plenty of styrene doing nothing so....:sneaky:

PA's are even cooler! Especially when they're pulling a really good-looking train like that one.(y)

Looks like those guys are still looking for a hole to dump that pile into...:ROFLMAO:

We have never-ending road work in Montreal, too. Lots of holes waiting for piles to fill them. Even more so, never-ending lines of orange cones with no work to be seen! And, to add insult to injury, detours that have detours which themselves have detours! After a few of those, you might end up in Vermont instead of Montreal West...:mad::confused::cry:

Here is a transformer for you. No idea what prototype it is modeled after. But the drop deck is modeled after the KRL car. Load deck extended to match the prototype.

If you had a way to model inclement weather, I;d say it looks a lot like Michigan. (TWo seasons- witer and construction). Ialso have a soft spot for that little elevator.

Between endless breaks, and standing around doing nothing, there simply is no time to work! :ROFLMAO::LOL:

Sometimes when I would arrive late to work, I would leave early to make up for it.
