Pretty good. I have been debating weathering my GP 35 myself. I haven't had the courage yet to do it.
i really doubted if i shoud do it, but the colour was so to red, so i just jumped in in. i don`t regret it.
I weathered all my GN F-units and cars with a cheap Testor's airbrush settup I bought for 8.00 bucks new. A light, light gray spray over the bottom half of everything looks good.
I'm going to weather mine now too! I think I will try chalk powder, as I'm no good weathering with paint. I keep messing up when I try, so I'll stick to chalk. -Robert
I use light washes of Polly S grimmy black to weather the engines. The nice thing is that is water soluble, so if you dont like it, wipe it off.
Yes, but kcould not mask it well enought, and got paint into the coupler box. The coupler just did not work well, so I had to replace the sideflame. Its not noticible unles you use bright lights.
And the trucks is used on the GP39, because the front coupler box is cut off to fit the snow plow. Eventually the trucks will be weather, so it will not be noticible. [ January 25, 2006, 07:10 AM: Message edited by: shamoo737 ]
