    Question!

Did D&RGW actually have any 3 bay covered cylindrical hoppers painted in this orange scheme?

    Just a question!

not that i have ever seen or heard of. but i'll dig deeper (again) to discover if there ever were some on the roster. i've been surprised before. i think i'll buy a set anyway, because they are so nicely done.

here's a link to the 15580 series cars, which were 4 bay covered hoppers, but not cylindrical hoppers.

I like the road OK, but the scheme is kind of loud. Same with BNSF pumpkins, so I don't own any of those. That's the beauty of model railroading, you can collect just what you like! :D
