Man, you sound like a great bunch of people. I am working on establishing a crew around here(Riverside Ca.) but only realy have one other guy. Even though we have been working on his layout(HO) for some time he asked me when he can come back to my layout(N) to operate. I took it as a compliment that he had a good time before. Hey, again, thanks for sharing.
Looks like great fun! Thanks for sharing! Looking through all the photos also helped to remind me that I don't have to have ALL the scenery done to begin running some OPS on my layout. So long as a representation of the LDE are in place, why not start having fun now, right? BTW - what sort of software was used to generate those car lists and waybills?
This looks so very cool. Looks like you would have a great time if you knew what you were doing. I think I would of been thrilled just to watch!
There are two members of my NTrak club who don't wear specs, but I think they both wear contacts. As for me, I recently went from sort of astigmatic and a little near-sighted to more astigmatic and far-sighted. I just got a prescription last week and I have glasses coming *after* the next paycheck. What did I do this weekend to celebrate? I installed some MU hoses on one of my locos. Adam
Lloyd, I use an old QBASIC program called TAG - Traffic Automatically Generated originally published in MR back in the mid-80's by Bob Fink. I modified the program to move the data from data statements to data files and make it easier to modify them. I later added a routine to put cars into trains to develop the switch lists. I will have to upgrade the program or switch to a commercial program as I am pushing the limits of the program and my printer is quite old. If it goes, I'll have to upgrade as QBASIC doesn't support printers on the USB network. Glenn
