At present I am at a point where I am going to have to make a waterfall, how do you do this? Here is a photo of the area I'm in the middle of preparing. Also does anyone have any pictures of their waterfalls?

I spread clear silicone cauk onto a board coverd with clear plasic wrap and let cure. when dry peel off plastic, trim to shape and glue into place.
can be dry brushed with white paint for hi lites, and poly fill used to make the mist at the bottom

I follow the same practice. BTW it also makes great rapids!

I used clear silicone caulk on wax paper, but IMO, you need to find silicone caulk that is clear when it's wet and dry, not the white stuff that clears up when it dries.

Lay out a piece of wax paper, and run silicone beads on the wax paper that are the length of you rwaterfall or longer(you can cut this stuff). Let dry.

Place silicone strips in place, and using the same caulk you used to make the strips, glue strips together and to your base.

    Easy deal.

Thanks everyone, that really helps explain what to do. Besides hi-lighting the silicone after it dries, should you paint the water area that it is going to be put on top of? (underneath the silicone waterfall.)

I pretty much followed the steps the guys outlined above. The picture from the old layout shows the waterfall that resulted. It appears a lot whiter that it really is as the photo lights reflected off of it, but it should give you an idea.
