CCTs new genset is on the way. Last spotting that I've heard was in Ohio. Can't wait, though shooting CCT is more difficult these days with most of their stuff staying in the Port of Stockton and no access without special appoitment. Guess I'll have to take a weekday off after she arrives and do some hunting.
I'm getting distracted by the other cool stuff, specifically those NREX demonstrators. 3600 superficially looks like a weird alternate C40-8. It's interesting that the hood doesn't have such obvious duplicate sections as other multi-engine gensets. Looks like the prime movers point opposite directions; I assume the grille below the front radiator section is on the rear on the other side. And 1400 - a new endcab. The only comparison in overall silhouette I can think of is an M420TR. For anyone who says there's no variety left in motive power, just look at a list like this.
