Mitch I was in the N-Scale shop on the NE side of INDY Sunday and they had several of theses in stock. They are only open on Sat and Sun from noon til 4PM. These guys have taken on running the shop for thier dad who has had a stroke. Thye have regular jobs during the week so this is the only time they had free. They are located at the intersection of Pendleton Pike and Post Rd. Phone number is (317) 898-4883. I have purchased kits from them before and expressed mailed them to Catt in Michigan. Would be willing to do the same for you. Only extra cost would be the shipping chg. E-mail me if I can be of help
larry thanks for the info, i might even be in the indy area later next month for the fire dept. conference. do you remember how much they were, if not no biggy. mitch
Mopac I remember one of the kits being around $26. That might have been the elevator. The add ons were a little less if my memory is working right. EMD90 Which side of INDY do you live on. I live 3 miles south of exit 26 (Anderson) on I69.
Im on the east side of Indpls, right smack in the middle of the 465/ 70 construction. I'm about 5min away from N-gauge train shop. I was going to suggest the same store as you did since Mort kept a huge inventory. Do you have a club layout in Indy or Anderson?
Check this out, here is an auction for one of these kits, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1716734185 Hope this helps, Brian [ 31 March 2002, 04:59: Message edited by: brian ]
There are no clubs around Indy or Anderson that I know of except the INDY Ntrakers. They have a national NMRA contest winner in thier Union Station Model. If you have not seen it it is fantastic. They usually have it set up a the GATS shows.
